Here they come

Ok this is the first of of my knitted goodies, which I began this morning in my excitement at 7am. Amazingly it was all knitted and stitched up by 12noon. It's amazing what you can do with a bit of piece and quite whilst the men in your life are sleeping :-)

I'm liking the design, but for me, I think this would be nicer in a thick cotton, or even a chunky yarn. This yarn is lovely, but I feel a heavier yarn will give it a lovely drape.

Just clearing my head, and making room for new stuff

Today, I completed all my orders, everthing is now in the post, and I have just two headbands to send out tomorrow.

So this evening, and the weekend, I will enjoy making samples of some new stuff that has been whirling around in my head, some for months, others for weeks, and one or two for just a couple of days.

If all goes well the weekend should bring about a new fabric and pig skin bag, some knitted goodies, I won't say what they are yet. I'll keep you in suspense :-)

IT's going like clock work.

I love day's like these, when I've knitted up all the panels, and then it comes to the worst part, and that's stitching them together. Sometime's it's just plain difficult, and takes an age. Today however, it's smooth, swift and pleasurable.

So this morning has gone like clockwork, not only have I knitted up two poncho's. I'm now a panel away from finishing the stitching on this. -this particular one is a custom order and will be heading off to the USA this afternoon to a really lovely customer. I hope she likes it as much in person, as she does in the pictures.

Blue version of the 8 - 1 sweater

Yet more blue, I really like this shade, it's electrifying in the sunlight. I might knit myself one to keep.
