Day 1 of iLE AiYE Exclusive

I'm delighted that within 8 hours of going live with my iLE AiYE Exclusive range, my Little Black Dress has caught the eye of a fashion blogger, http://musingsofbuffyleigh.blogspot.com/ who has not only blogged about the net dress, but has bought one,

Yes I'm chuffed.

iLE AiYE Exclusive

So this morning I've launched the iLE AiYE Exclusvie range, during the coming months i'll be knitting high end designs, made with top quality yarns, mostly in the sweater/cardigan category, and most items will be one off's or part of a very Ltd Edition, and in most cases of the Ltd Edition, each piece will have a different twist making each garment unique to the owner.

Having clearly developed a good and now established pret-a-porter range, I felt iLE AiYE had a market for the higher end design style, luxury yarns, quality hand knits. So here we go on the next journey. ;-)

A little black dress

So this is the finished dress - the custom order - it's definitely not your normal little black dress, and obviously not for a women of my ageing years, but i guess 20 years ago it might have found itself clubbing with me once in a while.

I was bloody freezing.

Queen Michelle of http://kingdomofstyle.typepad.co.uk/, has sported the iLE AiYE beanie again on her blog. Which always makes me happy, as she's such a fun dresser, so when she adds one of my knitted items to her outfit it fills me with a nice warm feeling, and puts a smile on my face.

This weeks project

At the top of my todo list, tonight and tomorrow, is to complete a Black dress in the style of this tank, A male customer of mine who has bought a fair few pieces for the love in his life, has commissioned a mini dress knitted in the style of this tank, with the net effect. I'm quite excited to see the finished result, as well as having a little 'dress up' session, before I send it out later this week. If the piccies come out spot on, i'll show you the end result.
