1,000
This is my recorded sales on etsy, I sat all day saturday with my sales on 999 arghhhh. it was driving me crazy, Just one more sale and i'd have that lovely looking figure of 1,000. Well it came. Not with fireworks, and a crowd applauding, but it was special never the less.
But I tell you, I've worked HARD for 14 - 16 hrs most days for the past 4 months, I don't know what brought all those sales my way, but I'm happy they came. As we start looking towards the holiday season, I feel I'll be less busy, as customers save their pennies for gifts, rather than personal items for themselves. And if I'm honest a little slow down would be nice, Time for some planning on what to knit up / design next, a few lie ins, and early nights, lazing about on the sofa, and some leather work, are all what's on my mind.

A day in Paris
Our day started at 5am, taking the Euro star from London to Paris was smooth and efficient. Totally recommend this way of reaching the French city.
The weather was warm, and dry so no complaints there, but i have to say I have a huge complaint re: shopping in Paris, I'd been so looking forward to finding myself something funky, but after hours of searching, I reached the conclusion, that as with most European cities that I've visited, the choice of clothing is hugely disappointing, with more high streets now stacked with the same chain stores. and the independent boutiques pushed out of business through the lack of originality from today's shoppers. Everyone looks and dresses the same, from the same stores, it's almost like a uniform. I truly thought Paris, would give me something a little different, but I'm sorry to say, all I returned home with was three cream cakes and a baguette.
All this said, it was a fun and lovely day for me and my Timi, to spend in each others company,

Pre Birthday Wishes to my darling Mum.

It's my mums birthday next week, so when I spotted these amongst a treasury I was featured in, they immediately sparked an inner will to buy them for my mum.
Anyway not being such a flippant shopper these days, I decided to place them in my favourites. On Sunday morning, i browsed over them and convinced she'd love them, dispite me not normally buying her jewellery, i placed my order.
Oma of Anakim,http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5846174 convo'd me within the hour, and said she'd post them that day. from Israel. I thought they'd have a chance of reaching my mum by Next Thursday. So I was grateful for her quick response.
To my utter shock, today just 4 days after ordering, my mum phoned, she'd received her earrings, was totally happy with them, and we were both in shock at how fast the little parcel of loveliness had reached n.wales from Israeli in just 4 days.
I'm still waiting for yarn ordered last week and it's coming from Scotland. URGGHHH. !!!
etsy FP

Some mornings I wake up early, and this morning was one of them, well this is because yesterday I was to tired, so I had a long nap in the afternoon, I woke at 5pm, worked till 3am this morning, then had an hours nap, the tv woke me up at 4.30am, with some stupid music. when I checked into etsy, I didn't mind this music so much, as I found myself on the FP, in this lovely treasury curated by one of my team mates, south paw studios, http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6118602&ga_search_query=southpaw&ga_search_type=seller_usernames.
I got a sale and a reserved order from it. so it's funny how one thing leads to another, ie: a long nap in the afternoon, a short nap in the middle of the night, then awake to dance happily to an FP feature.
