Bahhhhhh
I've just found a lovely shade of lipstick, from this Australian brand 'Bloom' http://www.bloomcosmetics.com/PRODUCTS/PureMineralMake-up/ls-mch/Charleston.aspx the shade I like is that nice brown one, 2nd from the right, it's called Charleston.
Sadly this brand is only stocked in 1 yes 1 drug store chain in the UK, and the store I found it in, only had the tester left, I even asked the counter staff if I could buy the tester in the Charleston tone, sadly they wouldn't let me, BAHHHH
The Bloom website don't ship internationally, So now I'm pining after something I can't have, and if I didn't go looking at lipstick on my way back from stocking up on food for the weekend, I'd have never wanted it. BAHHH
A Very Sunny Easter
Wow you just wouldn't believe how beautiful the weather has been in London over this past week,
yesterday and again today the sun is beaming with not a cloud in the sky.
I'm having to juggle between a very very busy knitting schedule, Easter cooking and an hour or two outside in the beautiful weather, Yesterday I took a drive up to a friends in Nottinghill, on the way, I decided after extensive searching for a nice summer top and having no luck at all, that I'd just pop into the fabric store and get some lycra jersy, I choose this pink, and a khaki Green, This morning it took me about 30 minutes to knock up two halternecks, which also when worn upside down, make a great strapless tube top. I'm really happy for just £5.00 I now have myself 2 new summer tops.
Anyway I wish you all a very happy Easter, and I hope the sun shines for you all to. :)

A summer cotton and linen grunge
cause once I've put one of my designs out there, I start to get custom orders, and from there inevitable the design just develops, this was the case with this lushious cotton and linen grunge.
A customer asked if i could make a cream cotton version of my grunge sweater, I already had the perfect summer yarn, so then it was just a case of working out how best to knit it up,
I've double knitted the body of this sweater, whilst the cuffs and the hem are tripple knitted.
The drape is wonderful, and it feels awesome on the skin.
I really wanted to keep this sweater, how perfect it would be for a stroll by the beach on a hot summers night,.
Well anyway, there aren't any beaches in London, so I guess, I'll wrap it up, and get it mailed out to it's owner over there in the warm California sun.

More summer knitting
so this is the softer pink yarn (in the summer shrug), I have a small stock of this yarn so it's a ltd edition,
the sweater is a custom order for my customer in the states, she wanted the M2M sweater but in a natural bamboo yarn, this yarn she mailed to me, and it's utterly lovely to knit with, and the drape is amazing, it's a perfect yarn for the summer, when you just need that coverage, and warmth, but nothing to heavy.

A new shade for the M2M
I just finished knitting up this custom order, using the alpaca mix yarn which i usually use in these sweaters, http://www.etsy.com/listing/59792044/brown-alpaca-blend-tweed-cardigan-size but for this M2M I've double knitted the yarn, (knitting two strands together) which basically makes the yarn chunkier, and so the garment becomes chunky
and wow another comfy sweater is born. I think an oatmeal version will be added to my to-do list.

YEAH summer/spring is here
So to celebrate, I knitted up the last of this pink cotton yarn into a loose weave shrug. It's a one of a kind in this shade, but I do have some very pale pink still to knit up
In other news, during my shopping trip last week, I purchased my first piece of make-up in some 20 years, I didn't hold back and went for a dramatic red lipstick, I've been wearing it every day whilst knitting in my PJ's shocking mr iLE AiYE and my son with my over the top 'red lips', today I braved myself, and wore it outside, I can't tell you how odd it feels to have stuff on my lips, :)
but I do kind of like it.
