It's not often I make a mistake, but today I knitted the wrong yarn in the stripe at the bottom, it was meant to be gold, doh..... so this is now available in my store, http://www.etsy.com/listing/79799132/ivory-white-linen-poncho and I have to get my needles hot and knit up the correct one..

it's all new

A new shade and yarn for the summer shrugs, along with a slimmer more open weaved designed.

and this is my new jacket, bought during my shopping trip with my mum. :)

A quick snap

I can be so useless at times, during my visit home I had taken my camera, but I was totally lame in using it, except for trying to capture this image of the mountain which I grew up on, (my son was driving the car, and this is the best I could do) I used to walk up and down those hills at least twice a day, once for a paper round, the other for school, I could even cycle up that mountain when I was younger. The sea is where I hung out during the summer, so this image as bad as it is, is kind of special to me.

Some new yarn

I'm just back from a short trip visiting my family in Wales, how I love being with them, it just rejuvenates my soul, Mum and I took a trip on Sunday to a local woollen mill, which is my favourite kind of shopping,(well I kind of liked the shopping trip we took on Monday where I bought a new pair of boots and a leather jacket) anyway back to the wool shopping.. amongst the lovely new yarns I found, this red, I couldn't resist it because it's absolutely a true pure red. and if you can see, it has an eyelash detail running through.

I picked up a green version, and a burnt orange to. so these will come later in the week.

Refresh

I feel Refreshed this week, this is because since Friday, the sun has shone in London none stop, such bliss, it's now Tuesday, and still we have sun,

I feel like I've had a weeks holiday despite working 16 hour days, But how nice it is to take my work outside and feel those warm rays.

Sadly rain and storms are expected from tomorrow onwards, just in time for my journey to Wales this weekend, to spend some relaxing time with my family, which is long overdue.

Leg Warmers

This week I had a custom order for some leg warmers, funnily enough this is something I've never knitted up before.

I figured I'd need some lovely images of a these warmers before they went in the mail tomorrow, I had an image in my head that they should be on a dancers foot, wearing ballet shoes, So this morning I headed of to my local dance studio, I checked out the ballet class, (which I'm now tempted to join on sunday mornings) however, most of the dancers where older ladies with rather large ankles ~(sorry I have nothing against this, but I needed a slim young leg, to capture that image in my head) . , Luckily on my way out, i looked in one of the other studios, ~(it's very much a dance studio where professional dancers rehearse for major shows ) and there I saw these dainty little pink feet, and thought she's just perfect, and to my surprise and luck, she was happy to oblige me in my request to capture some images.

So I'm totally happy this evening with these rather beautiful ballet shoe/leg warmer shots.
