summer cotton sweater

This sweater was a custom order, the pictures really don't do it justice,
using a gorgeous ivory and linen yarn, and keeping the sweater wide, and loose, for a really comfy summer sweater.

Finally the lighting has improved.

You might have guessed already I'm a much happier person when the spring /summer arrives, Autumn and winter are just not for me,  but not only does it improve my mood, it also improves the lighting in my images. finally the lighting is good, which means a few months ahead of some half decent images.  the race is on.

A new summer cotton linen and silk sweater

Well my week of creating new designs was a bit of a washout, 

what with a  pile of orders, which I couldn't  just sit having them  pending, and looking after my 18month old nephew for 2 days, has left me with just the smallest amount of time. 

But I managed to get this one knitted up yesterday. 

Made from a beautiful cotton, linen and silk mix yarn, this is the perfect sweater for spring, or slightly cooler summer days, I've loosely knitted it, and styled it so it's sleek, but comfy. 

and the wonderful thing is this yarn comes in some delicious spring shades.

Orange summer poncho

it's not a new design, but a new colour, a nice fresh spring orange,

Well my week of knitting up new designs has shrunk somewhat, as I'm just to busy, but I does appear I'll have 3 days at the end of this week,  but in order to get myself through the next couple of days of knitting up orders, I decided to knit up this yummy tank,
It's a light weight, loose knit, and utterly comfy, perfect for laying, and comes in some gorgeous summer shades,
This one is the darkest of the shades, being a slate grey.

in other news, I headed to the hairdresses last week, it's almost a year since I last went, This time I decided to layer up the back / bottom a bit , it's always hard to see the back of your hair, so this image above really gave me an idea of what was going on back there,  I'm kind of chuffed with it, and it feels and looks a lot healthier. :)
