OMG this yarn is discontinued

A moment 2 myself black chunky cardigan

A moment 2 myself GOLD chunky cardigan

Today my supplier of this yarn, telephoned me to let me know the yarn is being discontinued,
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo
i've obviously bought a substantial amount, but with my limited space for storage, it really does limit the amount of yarn i can buy in.
i'm so grateful to my supplier for giving me a good lead time on this information,
But this doesn't stop me from being ultra sad to see this yarn faze out.

Check out her website, for more interesting visuals, and perhaps consider some personal gifts of your own, ie: a portrait, a fun tote etc.

I have so much yarn

Cream cotton shrug, slimline version LTD Edition 3-4 left

About a week ago, i sold 3 of these shrugs in around 24hrs, and was convinced that was the last of the stash I had in stock, Which was a sad moment, cause this yarn is probably the quickest, softest, smoothest yarn to knit with.
And with it being long discontinued i was sure i wouldn't find any more hiding on the internet.
Little did i know I had a pack of 10 balls hiding in my stash, which I quite happily found just now whilst searching for another yarn.
so I'm happy to have another 4 - 5 of these available.

My Home Town

So this time next week, I'll be in my little home town in N.Wales, visiting my family. I sadly don't get to see them very often probably only once a year, so I'm particularly excited to be heading up there.
This image I took some years ago, I'm stood on a mountain larger in size than the one in the distance. The little town never seems to change, (apart from some expansion in retail estates) but this view hasn't changed one bit from when I was a young girl delivering newspapers to the cottages on this mountain, it was some mean feat every morning traipsing up and down the hilly roads at 6.30am, and at a time when newspapers where heavy and bulky and carried in a bag over your shoulder.
What you can't see in this photo is the actual full scape of the town, which has hills and mountains to the North and South. whilst on the East is the North sea, and to the West is the Irish Sea.
It was the most fabulous place to grow up, especially in the summer, with so much to keep us entertained, and all within walking distance.

A Matching cowl for the iLE AiYE Sweater

So here's part one of the matching accessories to pair up with the iLE AiYE Sweater.
you'd hardly notice the cowl is a completely separate piece uh, and well it just adds that snuggly feel/look to the sweater, and glides it from an autumn look straight into a winter must have.
Next up is the hoodie.

Almost done

Just a little bit of tidying up of the loose threads, and this little beauty is complete.
Can you see the swing effect. ummmm.. just perfect.
