Customer Feedback

Customers are one of most important chains in the link to a successful business, so when I receive a convo from a customer with kind words about my work, and an image they want to share with me of their special occasion which they bought their garment especially for, it puts the biggest smile on my face, and the warmest of glows in my heart.
This lovely lady purchased the firefly shrug http://www.etsy.com/listing/52451202/black-firefly-evening-shrug-1-2-left-in Back in November for an award ceremony of which she was to be awarded a prestigious award for her volunteer work at her local hospital.
I was thrilled she took the time to send me this image.

I'm back

Chocolate, but no ordinary chocolate, this is a unique iLE AiYE wrap around versatile chocolate Jacket LAST ONE

I've just spent the past two - three weeks in the worst pain imaginable - toothache, yes I was struck down with another bite of the menacing pain which literally had me wanting to rip my head off at times. Anyway this is hopefully all behind me now, as I've braved the dentist and the problem is solved. PHEW>>>>>

Whilst searching through my yarn stash last night, I found another bag of this chocolate yarn, this yarn is like that lost sock, it hides, and then unexpectedly out it pops from no where, it's hardly surprising, given I bought about 50 bags of the yarn some years ago, but I'm now pretty sure this is the last batch. So this will certainly be the last chocolate wrap available.

Bringing some chunk to your summer

cotton linen and silk summer beanie hat in biscuit/stone
cotton linen and silk summer beanie hat in biscuit/stone
Finally I've knitted a cotton summer hat, yes I know it looks like the winter versions, (that was the intention) but with this yarn being a mix of cotton, silk, and linen your head will have the ability to breath, whilst being protected from the heat of the sun.
And what a great selection of summer tones available.

Only 1 - 2 left

Sky Blue linen and cotton poncho cape Ltd Edition 2 left in this shade

I'm sure if I'll be able to pick up this yarn again for a while, so for the moment it looks like I'm down to the last 1 or 2, but it's more likely to be the last one, as I think I'll keep enough yarn back to make one up for myself.

My day at Greenwich

Glass nail files, I don't really pay any attention to my nails and haven't owned a nail files since I was in my twenties, but if I was the kind of women who did file her nails I would certainly treat myself to one of these.

These gel burners were really special, and if I had a garden one of these would have found it's way home with me, They're hollow inside, with a little stainless steel cup which rests in the hole at the top, when filled with gel oil, it burns smoke and odourless free. when you're all finished, you just pop the lid on and out goes the flame, these would make wonderful presents, and so affordable, and what you can't tell from these images is the size, some of them are really quite large.

These pot notch hanging wood 'things' were fun, perfect again for someone with a garden who enjoys hanging baskets. and so simple, the pots just notch into the curve on the wood frame, and then just hang. Simple. http://potnotch.co.uk/index.html

I treated myself to a simple silver ring, which the maker made up for me whilst I wondered around the market.
I'll post images of this later.

working on some summer beanies

I'm working on some summer hats, the yarns I've chosen are a mix of 100% Bamboo and 100% Cotton. So far it's coming along good, but my needles are taking the rest of today off , as I'm about to step on out and go browsing around Greenwich market.
My first day off this year. :)

More shades available

Pinkish cream oversized grunge sweater

I've just come across some more shades available in this lush yarn, along with the swatches above, it also come in a black yeah..... but I think the pink and the green are still my faves.
I'm gonna order the red shade, and knit up an asymmetrical version.
