I might give this another go, but on longer circular needles, as I completely didn't think of using them when i started knitting this loose swirl linen and cotton summer scarf. In order to get the slight twist effect you need to start with as many stitches as possible, so i filled my needle to the point of bursting. If I'd used my circular needles the finished result would have been longer, cause in the first instance I could have got double the amount of stitches during casting on.
Never mind.
