Development, I just wanted to share with you how a design develops

This was my first waistcoat back in 2006 (I think it was) and it's still selling well. Simple, clean, and versatile Next came this one, not so versatile, a little more snug, but clearly looking more waistcoat'ish
It closes' with a leather strap. Not so popular online, but it was a good seller at art fayres. Perhaps I'll knit up some other colours again.

Then we have this one, My latest design, and I think my favourite of all three.

can you see how it's developed. Good in-it.

Someone mentioned Karma today

AmiDesigns talks about Karma today on her blog, http://amidesignsjewellery.blogspot.com/2009/08/what-goes-around.html Well done by the way on the sales, and the weekend deal promo.

So having read Ami's blog, it prompted me to think about what karma must be passing by my little door.

In the last two weeks i've made about 70 or more sales, almost 20 of those are cardigans, mostly the kimono style. Lot's of kimono shrugs, ponchos, MY new waistcoat and some click it collars.

Not to mention lots of Front Page action on Etsy, with MY Plum Waistcoat, which generates exposure.

I generally try to keep my little world free of bad vibes, I don't bring trouble to peoples doors, (unless they are blatently bringing it to mine) I create in my own UNIQUE style, in MY way. and I DON'T IMMITATE.

So maybe along with the spirits in heaven that help me to have a very happy life, and my life moto 'Do unto others as you would have done unto you' I too am carrying some good design/sale karma. Along with happy life and love karma.

I truely feel looked after. :-)

Oh YEAH 700 sales

Today I reached a recorded 700 sales in my etsy store. Whoooppeeee. I'm over the moon,
The waistcoat above is what made the magic figure. I'm in awe at the success my designs have had and I totally love everyone of my 700 customers. A lot of sellers on etsy send special gifts to customers who purchase on the 100, 200 etc. I on the other hand won't be doing this, as this customer is no more special than all my 700 special customers. And well I'd be a poor lady if I sent them all a special gift, But I do regard them all as special, and thank each one of them for keeping me designing, and knitting. :-)))

Another Etsy FP

Well it would appear that the higher gods at etsy are liking my firefly image, they used it again on Monday 3/8/09 at around 7pm local time, making that 2pm Est time. and clearly this was a pretty good time slot, stats are: shop hearts 51, item hearts 36, and 4 sales followed.

If I had a spare $65.00

I found these on Etsy last night,
I luvs them, they look so funky. But sadly I'm not about to spend $65.00 on them, so if anyone else has spare pennies and wants to check them out, for themselves. Head over to Fabulize http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5548313
She has many other colours and styles.

interesting result

I do have a new piece that I've knitted, but I really can't find a spare hour to stitch it together, and get it pictured, so for now, I will treat you to another Etsy Front Page.

This was on the FP at around 10am this morning, (sunday 2nd august) it was interesting to see how the views and hearts measured up, to previous FP's that have featured iLE AiYE which have been on display at peek hours
So 10am in the UK is anywhere between 1am - 5am in the USA, depending on the coast. well what a difference this makes to the stats. only 2 shop hearts and 6 garment hearts, however, that didn't seam to effect the sales, as I had four. Gore blimely that's a record breaking ratio.
