spring is almost here

Well it might be raining cats and dogs in london today, but I believe spring is just around the corner, so it'll be time to bring out those vibrant sunny colours and start brightening up your wardrobe, This will also mean I'll be knitting up some new summer designs, spring colours and lots of cotton and linen yarns. I can't wait, so to tempt you to start thinking of dumping those winter woollies and begin the journey of spring summer i bring you two new shades to my glittery summer scarves.

A beautiful surprise

This gorgeous display of ribbons arrived this morning, from a very lovely lady in the states, who, a couple of weeks ago inquired about my cotton waistcoat, which requires ribbon to be attached and tied around the neck, I sadly had run out of lovely ribbons, so Robin, suggested she buy her own and send it to me, This morning, her package arrived stuffed with an array of ribbons as a gift for me. I'm in utter shock in the nicest sense of course. How beautiful are these? and had i gone to the ribbon store myself I couldn't have chosen any better. I'm so happy and love each and every one. SO a huge THANK YOU to Robin, for her truly appreciated gift, and her great taste

Big warm and comfy

So this is the big floopy version of the soft pink jumper dress, almost finished just a bit of cleaning up on the hem line and it's complete, The images are not reflecting the colour to well, it's actually a brown mix alpaca and kid mohair, rather than the grey tones that seem to be coming through here.
It's so comfy, and obviously extremely warm.
