I stumbled upon this store just now, so I thought I'd share, not only do I love her felt fascinators, I also love the style of her store, just like the felt head pieces, it's a warm and interesting vibe.
Finally I've begun, to build up on some stock, which means.. yes I'm using up my yarn stash, this is number one, (don't laugh), of thousand of balls in my stash. Slowly slowly, I might get there.
This past week my lovely friend Mary who runs the wemake brand, http://wemakelondon.blogspot.com/p/summer-boutique-designers.html opened up her first pop up shop in Hamsptead, I took a little trip there on Saturday afternoon, to have a peep at all the wonderful handmade goodies. and of course to show some support to Mary.
Wow I was impressed, down a little alley in Hampstead heath, was this stunning looking shop, inside was a cavern of wonderful handmade goodies from British artist.
I was truly impressed with Marys efforts, whilst holding down a full time job, she's managed to organise over 50 artists, setup and run a shop for 8 days, keep a blog, make her jewellery and bring the world of handmade to the label loving mothers of Hampstead Heath,
The shop did a storm, and the cafe next door was thrilled with their extra business due to having wemake in town. Hats of to Mary XO
This will definitely brighten up your winter wardrobe, I love this shade, it's so vibrant, and strong. This was a custom order, which I wasso happy to have gotton the chance to see this shade knitted into the shrug. personally I think it looks lush.
So when I first bought the bamboo yarn, this was the tank I had in mind to knit, until of course I got caught up in a whirl of knitting all those shrugs.
I saved this last lot of greyish/blue yarn for this tank, and I'm pretty happy that I did, and finally took the time to knit it up 12 months later.
