Tempting

TRINKET BROWN
Last weekend I took my son shopping to Kensington High Street, He's got a work placement at the Independent Newspaper, and so wanted a couple of merino v.necks for that smart casual look. So inevitably I was unable to walk past the shoe shops without having a peep.
Always a bad thing, cause I'm a sucker for a new pair of boots, I tried these on, and OMG I've not stopped thinking about them all week.
I'm now very tempted to nip to the store and just get me a pair. http://www.dune.co.uk/catalogue/category.asp?r=43&g=41&s=767

Last one

Black and Grey Cobble peru poncho LAST ONE

phew.. whilst searching for half an hour looking for another yarn, I discovered I only had enough yarn left to make one more of these, http://www.etsy.com/listing/57250657/black-and-grey-cobble-peru-poncho-last Or at least I think it's only one more, as I'm pretty sure I don't have any more of this yarn hiding in my stash.

Sorry for my absence

So I'm well into the swing of my Jury Service, it's extremely emotional, tiring, and so time consuming.
I've juried one case, and now I'm onto the next case,
Sadly I'm not even allowed to bring my knitting needles into the court house, so there's absolutely no knitting going on during waiting or travelling time, which I'm so disappointed about.
Hence I'm multi tasking to the extreme, when I get home.

Please bare with me, blogging /posting will resume at my earliest convenience.

looking hot

So my friend Renee came round this afternoon, and graciously allowed me to take a few snaps of her in the said halterneck net dress,
She's delighted, as am I, the fit is just perfect. and the additional double knit layering in parts, is just covering the right places. So they'll be no embarrassing nipple exposures.

Pink chunky jumper work in progress

I started this jumper last sunday, and it looks like it'll be at the earliest next sunday before I can crack on with it some more. I'm designing it to be a slim fit, angled at the front and back, with a thick chunky polo neck, with 3/4 wide sleeves. If it comes out how i've pictured it in my head, it should work perfectly with a pair of skinny jeans and winter boots,
The idea to is to be able to knit this sweater in any shade from my winter hat collection.
