Just a small sample of the hats going out in the post today, you can tell autumn is in the groove, as my hat sales have gone bananas this week.

Only 1 left.

plum kimono sleeved shrug Last One

Yep, sadly another shade bits the dust, there's now only enough yarn in this shade to create one more of these super soft shrugs.

Coming soon

I'm a couple of steps closer to finishing this sweater, infact since taking these images yesterday, I've now attached the arms, and finished the collar, which will close with buttons and perhaps a leather strap for added detail. I've tried it on with skinny jeans and boots, it's looking pretty cool.
I've now altered the collar to what you see in these images, as I'll be sending this sweater to my lovely Mum, whos birthday it is at the weekend, I know she doesn't like to feel restricted around the neck, so I'm designing the collar to fall open, but then when needed to be secured into a polo neck to keep her warm when she goes shopping.
I'll try to get some images later today of the finished sweater before I post it out.

I'm a proud mother

I'm so pleased to share with you my Sons first piece of professional work,

For the past two weeks Jordan has carried out a work placement at the Independant on Sunday one of our national newspapers http://www.independent.co.uk/ he was working in the Graphics department, from his first day to the last he was given pages to mock up for both the supplement magazine and the Sunday paper, he was responsible for sourcing images to place alongside the story, designing graphics and touching up the images, plus a whole heap more that I'm not familiar with.
On Sunday his work was published in the National Paper. The images above are just a small taster of his finished published work.
To end his work placement on a big high, he was offered a Saturday post at the Paper.
I'm a very proud mum. :-)
