a mad couple of days

OMG Just as I was seeing a gap in my schedule to create something new, or to have a long afternoon nap, (the gap was for this Saturday afternoon) Etsy surprised me with their storque article containing the oatmeal cape. the sales seemed to start slow, so I thought I was still in for a nice rest this weekend, Well didn't I think wrong,
The convo's from customers rolled thick and fast, and the sales which by the end of the day yesterday, reached no less than 30 in just 48 hours, the treasury at the top was the icing on the cake providing the last four sales,
So at present, my next scheduled gap is looking like next thursday, and that's if I don't sell anything between now and then.
Roll on my trip to Paris. ;-)

retail therapy

My treat, I've had this in my favourites for AGES, but kept putting off clicking that 'buy it now' button, this morning, I felt a treat was needed, so now it's MINE, All Mine, ;-)
checkout L'ape Zoppa's store here, if you're liking this too.

So Etsy produce an email, almost daily that gets circulated to all their subcribers, this must reach tens of thousands of people, yesterday they featured my oatmeal cape, under the heading of 'for the professional' -don't you know it. he he. The article is behind this link if you fancy a look.

this has obviously generated a huge number of views and hearts to my store. and so far about 5 sales. Although to be honest I'm feeling a little over exposed, I'm currently in 4 etsy storque articles, and 5 gift guides, don't get me wrong, I really appreciate it, but I do have concerns about over exposure. and this week, I'm feeling those concerns a tad more than normal. but as they say don't look a gift horse in the mouth. so I'll shut right up. and enjoy.
oh and go shopping, I'll show you what I've bought in my next post.

HAPPY 2nd ETSY Versary to me / iLE AiYE

This is just a quickie, I'm far to busy, for anything today.

but I have to mark the day somehow, 4th October 2007 I joined Etsy, having looked at some of the other knitwear designers, I was thinking wow it'd be great if I could make 40 sales,

2 years later, and I've made 906 recorded sales, i reckon the actual number is above 1,000. with many custom orders containing more than one item.

Thank you to my etsy customers, and friends for giving me the opportunity to knit like a mad women, to give up my day job, and do what I love doing most.

big kisses. XXXX
