An ORIGINAL

It doesn't matter if you say you love him or hate him, because I know you won't be able to say you never sang along or danced like crazy to even one of his songs. and felt good afterwards.

A true original artist. when did you ever see anyone dance like him, nobody could imitate him, without looking ridiculous, only Michael Jackson could do 'Michael Jackson'.

In memory of a true artist.

THE FASCINATOR

Savoy Truffles has a simple little store on Etsy
The Bellydancer, Fascinator is one of the nicest head dresses I've come across, out classing (in my opinion) all those haute couture milliners.
The colours of the pheasent and ostrich feathers, are truly stunning, and work beautifully together.
The perfection to finish off this fascinator is the Indian Silver bell chain.
If you're looking for something different to adorn your head, stop by Savoy Truffles before you head off to the high streets.

NEW SUMMER SHADES

so I've managed to sneak in a couple of new shades, amongst my orders, and to keep my mind creatively active.

I'm actually preferring the plum shade, it has a richness about it, and I think it suites my skin tone. But then I've not been feeling very well today, so maybe I'm not thinking straight. :-)

It's always a good indication

Wow, so remember my new style waistcoat, knitted and listed in my store http://www.ileaiye.etsy.com/ not 48 hours ago.
YIPEE I've just sold it. It's always a good indication if a new style sells quickly after making and displaying it, that it could be a popular design.

So watch this space for a couple of alternative colours.

Here they come

Ok this is the first of of my knitted goodies, which I began this morning in my excitement at 7am. Amazingly it was all knitted and stitched up by 12noon. It's amazing what you can do with a bit of piece and quite whilst the men in your life are sleeping :-)
I'm liking the design, but for me, I think this would be nicer in a thick cotton, or even a chunky yarn. This yarn is lovely, but I feel a heavier yarn will give it a lovely drape.

Just clearing my head, and making room for new stuff

Today, I completed all my orders, everthing is now in the post, and I have just two headbands to send out tomorrow.

So this evening, and the weekend, I will enjoy making samples of some new stuff that has been whirling around in my head, some for months, others for weeks, and one or two for just a couple of days.

If all goes well the weekend should bring about a new fabric and pig skin bag, some knitted goodies, I won't say what they are yet. I'll keep you in suspense :-)

I praying they don't all end up in my etsy clearance store, and they'll be good enough to reach www.ileaiye.etsy.com for their preview next week.
