Testing Testing, 1, 2 ,3

This morning, Etsy was having maintenance, so what a perfect time for me to get my sewing machine out, and do some basic sewing, I'd had an idea for a halterneck top, and thought I'd give it a practice run with some nice jersey material, Altough the final piece will be made from African print cotton in red. (yummy)
This took me around 20 minutes to make, no pattern, just cut, sew, stick, and a few prayers. I wish I could knit that fast.
Now for the real thing. (check back soon)

It's naughty, but it was nice.
So faced with a beautiful sunny morning, BF is sleeping, No garden, and just sat here knitting. that scaffolding outside my window was looking decidedly tempting. So I''m afraid I had to do it.
Yes I set up some cushions, a blanket/sleeping bag thing, and plonked myself and my knitting out on the scaffold at 9am this morning. and wouldn't you know I'm still here to tell the tale.
And now I've got me a little suntan. :-)

Custom and Hand Made

June brings about my brothers birthdays, one celebrates on 4th June, the other on the 19th. I don't get to see them very often, as we all live hundreds of miles apart, so on thinking how I could show them some love, I thought of requesting some custom footie cards, both brothers play each other in the Internet fantasy football league, every year they lose badly to my dad. they all put a little wager on and the pot contains £150.00, This year my dads buying himself a new flat screen t.v for his play room. courtesy of the losers. HA HA HA
Cow island http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6453213 happily and affordable obliged my request for two custom birthday cards, simulating his cows at a footie game (apparently the cows had a great day out) within 18 hours of my request Mr Cow Island had turned around these fantastic hand drawn birthday cards.
I'm totally and fantabulosly delighted with the result. So a big FANK YOU goes out to cowisland for a job well done

I wonder what you'll make of this.

Yesterday I was in an experimental mood, I'd had this design on my mind for some time, but as usual with me, I think about it for a while befor I tackle the task. Yesterday morning I tackled it. Personally I think it's going to look great on some slim 20 something, wearing skinny jeans, high healed boots, and a slinky top underneath.
Please feel free to comment, I love to hear the pro's and cons .
Umm and I might attempt this in leather. ??

So some of you may remember my 3 panelled pink leather and suede bag, or at least you may have been subjected to my showing off, of my wonderful boots, (aren't they great :-) )
Well for those of you that like a smaller, PINK, Leather bag, I've answered your prayers.
here is a wonderfully soft pink bag from a mixture of dusky pink suede, and vegetable dyed pale pink leather.
