And I'm feeling Good..

Yeah this morning I'm feeling good, After sitting back down after preparing some fresh coffee I noticed my Yellow Chunky hat http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=38566353 was on the Etsy FP and got nearly 1,200 views. So that's started my morning off pretty nicely.

In other news this week, I've had a request to send a 'gift item' to Pixie Lott, http://www.pixielott.com/site/ for a photo shoot this weekend, It means I won't be getting the garment back hence the word 'Gift' but if what I send gets used in promotions or such, and iLE AiYE is credited, then it's well worth the effort. So with my ever demishing stock of ready to ship items, I'm going to be sending the yellow shrug above. Keep ya fingers crossed for me.

JET Black Firefly evening shrug

A Totally black version of my firefly shrug, This yarn is pretty tricky to knit with, and despite it looking like a short knitting project it does infact take a good number of hours, as one wrong move with the needles, means the yarn isn't caught as it should be and a whole manner of mess proceeds.
This little number is on it's way to Miami, lucky thing. Wouldn't mind a bit of that warm Miami sunshine right now.

New Collar to match the merino Shrug

As promised some images of the eternity scarf paired up with the matching shrug.

This was the first time since knitting it up that I'd tried them together, and what a perfect pair they make. I especially like the studded leather strap which just adds that little quirky extra.
I think some more in different colours are going to be flying off my needles in the future.

An eternity scarf

I've been working on this scarf with my fav customer in New York, She had the vision of what she'd like to match up with the Merino long sleeved shrug.
and I must say, I'm really happy with the result. I'll be sending her two leather straps, so she can really play with the scarf, and get a huge variety of looks from just one piece of knitted yumminess.
I'm hoping tomorrow I'll be able to show both the shrug and the scarf worn together,

dum de dum

So this week has had it's ups and downs, not really bad downs, but ones that prevent me from flowing properly with my work, so some days I really had to push my way through the day,
like yesterday I knitted up a pair of gloves, I've knitted hundreds of gloves but if I made one mistake I made a dozen, and it was driving me crazy, I just wasn't in the flow.
Thankfully after an early night (which I've not had for ages) this morning my flow was back. So I was able to fly through my knitting, stitching and packing. Which is a relief, Lets hope it remains like this for the foreseeable future.

The cardigan above is a custom order for a lady in italy. This will be a one of a kind in this yarn, as I think I've bought every single spare ball in the country. I lost a bid for 10 more balls on Ebay this week, only to get an email half an hour later asking if I'd like a 2nd chance, Whopppeee, 'yes please', So I now have the 10 balls, sat waiting to be knitted into a wrap around for my regular customer in New York.

my new coat, jacket which I got in the sale

I've been after a jacket for a while but never stumbled upon anything I liked, this one buttons on the side, and the back is shorter than the front. it's really cute.
It was a tiny bit pricey at £101.00 I thought the hand written price tag said £61.00 but when they cashed it up, I was already in love. so the deal was done with http://www.allsaints.com/womens/
