I've found a nice new yarn

Luxury fibre poncho in Red.

Luxury fibre poncho in Red.

I stumbled upon this lovely yarn earlier this week, a perfect replacement for my ever decreasing stock of yarn which I use in many of my autumn/winter ponchos.
This yarn is brand new, so it's going to be around for some time. it comes in many shades, I choose the red to get me started, cause i'm a big fan of reds, this one in particular is very yummy, cause it has orange undertones, which is just right for my skin tone.
the fibre content is 30% Fine Alpaca,30% Merino Wool, 40% Acrylic, which is ever so soft, almost like cotton wool balls.

Sadly another yarn is coming to an end, my supplier is now all out of these yarns, I've accumulated a small stock in my stash, but when it's gone, it's gone, (unless off course I stumble upon some more during my internet searches.)

Dusky blue - sea green and lilac summer tank

During my ever ending search for yarns, I've found a small stash of this old fav.
So for one more time I'm able to stock it again in my store, but only 1 will be available.

it's a challenge

I'm having a real challenge this last week, to capture some images of my knits,
With my son away for a couple of weeks, and the sunshine (today) or lack of it for days, along with with using a self timer on my digi camera, I'm all but frustrated.
Come home jordan you're needed.

liking this.

Crocheted Old daffodil pin or hairclip

My sleep pattern is all over the place this week, today I slept at 10pm, and woke at 1am, I've been up working since, during my coffee break just now, I saw this on etsy's FP.
I'm loving the use of yarn and feathers, something I'm on the verge of doing myself, I've got the feathers (they've been in my stash for months now), and obviously I have the yarn, now I just need the time, I won't be making hair pins though.

More day light please...

January is one of those months you either love it or hate it (it's such a long month),
The 1st of 12, I've grown to love it, it's a new beginning, the start of new things, and most importantly, the days start to get a little longer, take today, it's now 4.15pm, in London, and we still have daylight, this time last week, it would have been dark. Spring is almost in our grasp, and I for one can't wait.
So each new day of January brings with it a few additional precious minutes of daylight.
The only bad thing is, this week, we've had dark dark clouds, so trying to get images of my knits has been impossible, I've practically given up, But I'm living in hope for a brighter day tomorrow, and those few additional minutes.
