A Pink version is coming

The Chelsea Jacket in grey

Tonight I'm finishing off a lovely pink (cotton mix yarn) in the style of my Chelsea Jacket. it's looking really quite cute, and has me hanging off every stitch despite being extremely tired, Anyway, so long as I don't make a huge mistake with my sleepy self, tomorrow I'll post some pictures of the finished result.

HOT OF THE PRESS

My little heart is ponding,
A couple of weeks ago Amity from the Etsy UK Blog asked me if I'd like to be interviewed,
obviously I was happy to be asked, but so nervous that my humble little story would be at all interesting to others.

Thank you Amity for the opportunity. ;)

London has slid quickly into autumn mode

OPELLE Lotus Bag - Pebbled Elkskin Leather in Rich Chocolate - Made to Order
Yesterday the weather in london was just yuck, not only does this confirm that summer is gone, but that the boots and winter jackets which only got put away in mid May, are to be pulled out again, with this in mind it means to, that my summer shopper bag has to hang back on it's hook till next summer, and out comes a more suitable bag for the winter,
My current winter bag is the satchel type, this was the first leather bag I made, I love it, but it can be a bit impractical when carrying the shopping, and trying to locate the house keys.
However, I just found a lovely alternative, the lotus bag, it's just gorgeous, the leather looks soft, yet sturdy, the texture and dark colour is perfect, and you can wear it as a cross body.
So this is on my wish list.

Autumn equals busy

Grunge alpaca beige tank

Dog tooth Neckscarf for men or women unisex

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, Autumn has arrived, which thankfully means I'm doubly busy but this means I have to squeeze alot more into my day, whilst other things get sidetracked.
This week I've relisted my Grunge tank, http://www.etsy.com/listing/55225238/grunge-alpaca-beige-tank one of my favourite customers reminded me of this tank the other day, she bought one, and made me wonder why I didn't have it for sale in my store, especially with Autumn knocking on our door.
in other news the unisex black and white scarf sold this week, in my http://www.etsy.com/shop/oddsandsods?ref=seller_info store, this was the last one, the material is now all used up, but I'm planning to make some more later today, from a brown plaid material, hopefully my son will be around later to strike a pose.
and then the news I wanted to share with you today, I'm going to have to postpone until next Wednesday, as the deadline was moved. So I'll be biting my tongue for another week.

This weekends project

iLE AiYE Exclusive range - Black Net tank top

So I've been up since 2.30am, as I've a lot todo this weekend, Some I can share with you, whilst another I have to hold my tongue until Wednesday when all will be revealed,
We have a long weekend ahead as Monday is a bank holiday, so tomorrow I'm off to visit my sister over in Devon, which means today and Monday I'll be knitting my fingers raw.

My lovely Girlfriend Renee requested a halter-neck dress using the same net technique as my tank top above, Renee is a singer so I suspect she'll be strutting her stuff on stage sometime in the coming month wearing an iLE AiYE dress, which is pretty exciting for me.
Hopefully she won't mind if I grab a few images of her wearing the finished results, when she pops round next week to collect it.

One nice thing this morning, is, we have sunshine, first time in about a month.

And the WINNER IS....

Di - Spring green hat.

Well done, I'll be posting it out tomorrow, I need to knit it up.;-))

the video of the draw is available here to view.
